On September 10th, 2024, the Kenya Kabaddi Union participated in a pivotal meeting hosted by the Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK) to discuss the implementation of anti-doping regulations and the promotion of clean sports. The meeting took place at the ADAK offices in Parklands Plaza, Westlands, Nairobi.

Representing the Kenya Kabaddi Union at the meeting were the Secretary-General, Japheth Munyendo and the CEO, Mudaspack Otieno who joined ADAK officials, including the CEO, Compliance Officers, Director of Standards and Compliance, and the Head of Legal Services, to discuss critical issues related to anti-doping.

A key focus of the meeting was the importance of educating athletes about the dangers of doping and ensuring compliance with anti-doping regulations. The discussions emphasized that awareness and education are essential to promoting clean and healthy sports. By equipping athletes with knowledge about the consequences of doping, sports federations can help protect the integrity of sports and the well-being of their participants.

This collaborative effort reinforces the commitment of the Kenya Kabaddi Union to uphold the values of fair play and maintain a doping-free environment for all athletes.
